Question about Smart Playlists in Itunes

I have been importing my music files into ITunes and I find that the "Recently Added" playlist is getting rather cumbersome. I found the Edit smart playlist command and was confronted by a byzantine selection of check boxes.
If I want to empty the smart playlist folder how would I do that?

Just changed the rules for the smart playlist. They will disappear in no time.
